Notes to editors:
- The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) is an integral part of the Department’s Service Delivery Group.
- The Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) have been engaged by the Department to demonstrate the quality of teaching and learning at CAFRE through a series of inspections planned over the next few years.
- The use of ETI by the Department to independently assess the standard of teaching and learning at CAFRE is guided by a Memorandum of Understanding and, on a yearly basis, by a Service Level Agreement.
- A Further Education Inspection of the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise, Enniskillen, Greenmount (Essential Skills only) and Loughry Campuses was undertaken in January and February 2010.
- This is the second in a series of inspections undertaken at the College. In 2009/10 a similar inspection was carried out at Greenmount Campus and again the report endorsed the very good quality of Further Education provision inspected at Greenmount.
