Statutory cereals and oilseed levy rates for 2010/11
Friday, 21 May 2010DARD with the other Devolved Administrations and Defra approved the statutory Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) Levy Rates for 2010/11.
The levy rates were proposed by AHDB following consultation in 2009.
The levy rates for cereals and oilseeds will remain the same as those applying in 2008/2009 and 2009/2010.
Levy rates by sector from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011

- The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) became operational on 1 April 2008, to replace five existing statutory levy boards. It is mainly funded by statutory levies paid by producers, growers and processors in the relevant sectors. The rates of levy, including the higher rates for late payment, are approved annually by Ministers in DARD, Defra and the Devolved Administrations.
