- The YPBAS is a school based survey carried out among 11-16 year olds and covers a wide range of topics relevant to the lives of young people today. A representative sample of 175 schools was selected from a list of all post-primary schools in Northern Ireland and 77 participated. A total of 4,070 pupils were surveyed but not all fully completed the entire questionnaire.
