Monday, 14 March 2011

Northern Ireland Environment Agency officials investigated a site adjacent to Legane Road, Aughnacloy, owned by DFM Developments, on 20 October 2009 where a quantity of construction and demolition material was deposited.

Further visits in January and May 2010 confirmed the waste was still on site. Fifty tonnes of mixed waste was identified on site together with evidence of burning. The site did not have a waste management licence or an exemption to deposit or store controlled waste.
