Clough man fined for unauthorised waste offence
A Clough man was fined £750 plus £49 court costs at Coleraine Magistrates’ court today for the unauthorised disposal of controlled waste.

Mr Thomas Campbell (50) of Dowgry Road Clough Ballymena pleaded guilty to the unauthorised keeping of controlled waste at a site at Boyds Quarry, Boyds Road Cloughmills.
Officers from Northern Ireland Environment Agency investigated the site, owned by Mr. Campbell, in January 2010, where a substantial quantity of controlled waste in the form of construction and demolition waste and clay was deposited.
