Two fined for illegal signage at garden centre

Two people were fined £600 each plus £166 court costs at Londonderry Magistrates' Court yesterday for illegal signage.

Laurence and Catherine McMinn of Ness Lifestyle and Garden Centre, 234 Glenshane Road, Cross, Co Londonderry, were convicted for displaying advertisements without planning permission.  They have been ordered by the Magistrate to remove the illegal signs.

The Planning Service brought the action under Article 84 of the Planning (NI) Order 1991 (as amended).
