M2 Motorway Closures

The M2 motorway will be closed between the Sandyknowes and Greencastle junctions this weekend for resurfacing works.

The city-bound carriageway of the M2 will be closed between from 10.00pm on Saturday 14 February until 6.00am on Monday 16 February 2009. During the closure the city-bound on-slip at Sandyknowes will also be closed.

A signed diversion route will be in operation involving Ballyhenry Road, Manse Road, Prince Charles Way, O’Neill Road, Station Road, Shore Road and the M5.

Drivers using the M2 motorway should expect delays and should allow extra time for their journeys.
