Brookeborough man convicted of benefit fraud
Thursday, 15 April 2010A man was convicted at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court yesterday for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
He claimed Jobseekers Allowance and Income Support totalling £12,988 while failing to declare capital. He was given four months imprisonment suspended for two years and ordered to pay £49 court costs.
He will also have to repay the money he wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
