Man convicted of benefit fraud at Antrim court
Tuesday, 20 April 2010A man was convicted at Antrim Magistrates’ court yesterday of claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
He claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £22,576 while failing to declare his partner’s savings. He was given 240 hours community service.
He will also have to repay the money he wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
