Dungannon man convicted of benefit fraud
Thursday, 12 August 2010A man was convicted at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court yesterday for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
The Dungannon man (50) was given two months imprisonment, suspended for two years, fined £300 and ordered to pay court costs of £31 for failure to declare capital while claiming Housing Benefit totalling £5,020.
He is required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
