Thursday, 20 December 2007

The Social Security Agency today gave advice about payments over the Christmas period.

A spokesperson for the Agency said: “Over the Christmas holiday period some of our customers would be due to receive their payments on a national public holiday, when most banks and post offices are closed.

“The Social Security Agency has put arrangements in place in Northern Ireland to ensure all benefit payments due week commencing 24 December will be paid on Friday 21 December.

“Customers due payments on 1 January will receive their payments on 31 December.”
