Dunmurry man convicted of benefit fraud
Friday, 24 September 2010A man has been convicted at Lisburn Magistrate’s Court yesterday for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
The Dunmurry man (64) claimed Income Support totalling £3,853 while failing to declare capital. He was given a £200 fine and ordered to pay court costs of £31.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money he wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
