Eileen Evason reappointed as Standards Committee Chairperson
Professor Eileen Evason has been reappointed as chairperson of the Northern Ireland Joint Standards Committee for the Social Security Agency and Child Maintenance and Enforcement Division.

The appointment is from 26 April 2012 and Professor Evason will serve for a further period of five years.
The Northern Ireland Joint Standards Committee was set up in 1999 to report to the Chief Executive of the Social Security Agency and Head of Division of the Child Maintenance and Enforcement Division (formerly the Child Support Agency) in Northern Ireland on the standards of decision making and payment accuracy within the two organisations.
Eileen Evason is Emeritus Professor in Social Administration (University of Ulster) and spent many years engaged in teaching and research with a particular focus on poverty and social security. As a researcher, Professor Evason has completed numerous projects relating to the business of the Social Security Agency and Child Maintenance and Enforcement Division and has an extensive list of publications.
