Ministers agree on measures to alleviate pressures on schools’ budgets

The First Minister and Deputy First Minister along with the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Education have met to discuss the financial pressures on the schools' budget within the Department of Education.

As a result of these discussions agreement has been reached which will help alleviate some of the pressures on the budgets of schools over the next three years. Details of the agreement will be unveiled next week by the Minister of Finance in the Assembly.
