This event was hosted by Sainsbury's at Kennedy Centre.

Junior Minister Kelly congratulated the Charity: "The receipt of this award is a significant achievement for those staff and volunteers associated with the Action on Disability project and it rightly recognises the vitally important work you do in support of those people with disabilities in your local community."

The Minister added: "We can all learn a lot from the work that your organisation undertakes and I hope now that with the added backing and support of those from your local Sainsbury's store over the next! twelve months that your project goes from strength to strength and continues to make a real difference to those people in your local community who have a disability"
