Fermanagh Flooding Task Force meets at Stormont

The cross-departmental task force set up by the Executive in response to the high levels of flooding in Fermanagh late last year has met at Stormont Castle.

The task force agreed a series of recommendations aimed at mitigating the potential impact of future flooding. The recommendations will be brought to the Executive shortly for consideration.

The meeting was attended by Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Michelle Gildernew MP MLA, Enterprise, Trade and Investment Minister Arlene Foster MLA, Regional Development Minister Conor Murphy MP MLA and Department of the Environment Minister Edwin Poots MLA.
