Commenting on her decision, Ms Ruane said: “I have given very careful consideration to the proposal, but concluded there is already sufficient pre-school provision in this area. Within a two mile radius of Waringstown, the level of pre-school provision compared to Primary One intake is 113%. Additional provision would inevitably impact on the existing nursery schools and units.”
