Final call for your say on the draft health budget consultation

The Department of Health has today called for people to give their views on the draft health budget, currently out for public consultation.
Monday, 14 February 2011

The consultation period closes this Wednesday 16 February, and all views expressed will be taken into consideration so that a final budget settlement can be agreed.

The document sets out the proposed budget settlement for the Department for Health, Social Services and Public Safety (DHSSPS) under the Executive’s draft budget.

It outlines the implications in the context of increasing inescapable demands on the services provided by the Department and the reductions in expenditure required under the proposed allocations.

The department is interested in hearing views on any aspects of the document and would encourage all interested parties to make their responses as soon as possible before the consultation closing date of 16 February 2011.
