Mr Martin was fined £100 for each of five offences relating to him having custody of an animal in contravention of an order made on 1 December 2000 by the Magistrates’ Court for the District of Strabane.
On two similar charges he was given a two month jail sentence, suspended for two years,

1. John Martin was convicted under section 27 of the Welfare of Animals Act (NI) 1972, contrary to section27(5) of the Welfare of animals Act (NI)1972 of a total of seven offences in contravention of an order made on 1 December 2000 by the Magistrates’ Court for the district of Strabane.
