13 January 2009 - Farmer convicted at Dungannon court

Mr William Wilson, Findermore Road, Clogher, Co Tyrone was convicted at Dungannon Magistrates' Court on Monday 12 January 2009. He was convicted of one charge under the Brucellosis Control Order (Northern Ireland) 2004.

Mr Wilson was found guilty and was fined £300 plus £34 costs.

Mr Wilson was convicted of failing to comply with Article 8(2) (b) of the Brucellosis Control (NI) Order 2004, in that he failed to isolate animals from other bovine animals as specified in a Notice served on him on 3 May 2007, contrary to Article 52(1) (a) of the Diseases of Animals (NI) Order1981.
