The Minister said: “I will be there in person cheering on the team and I am looking forward to the Ulster players in particular giving the French side a tough match. The players have come under a lot of pressure and criticism recently following their last two matches but I would say to fans it’s now time for you to get behind your team and give them your full support.
“After the narrow loss to France in Croke Park earlier this year I hope Ireland can now turn the tables and beat France on their own home ground. My very best wishes go to each member of the team.”
