Education Minister, Caitríona Ruane, condemned yesterday’s attack on St Mary’s Star of the Sea Primary School in North Belfast.
The Minister said: “I absolutely condemn this attack on St Mary’s Star of the Sea Primary School, as I do attacks on any school.
“Vandalising a school is an attack on the children in the community and is a shameful act.
“Children and young people have the right to be educated in safety, free from threat and vandalising schools redirects much needed money from other resources to repair the damage.”
