The eleventh joint exhibition of Government-owned art will be on show at the Millennium Court Arts Centre, William Street, Portadown from 7 - 23 August.
Entitled ‘In the Mind’s Eye’, the exhibition features 40 art works from the collections of the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) and the Office of Public Works (OPW) in Dublin.
The exhibition focuses on the theme of realism and includes both paintings and photographs by 25 artists - 10 from Northern Ireland and 15 from the Irish Republic. Among those featured are well respected names such as Carol Graham, Cecil Maguire, Joe McWilliams as well as Dermot Seymour, Eithne Jordan and Fergus Bourke.
The exhibition moves to University College Hospital, Galway on 5 September 2008. Admission is free.
