Continuous Household Survey - First release of 2009/10 results

The first release of figures from the 2009/10 Continuous Household Survey (CHS) was published today by Central Survey Unit of the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency.  This First Release Statement signals the availability of figures from the latest year of the survey.  The CHS web tables, incorporating the 2009/10 figures, are now available on the Central Survey Unit website.  They are the latest additions to the existing historical information which is available online from the survey dating back to 1983.

The attached First Release Statement provides just a few illustrative findings from the wide range of data now available from the survey website.  Central Survey Unit will be publishing a more detailed Bulletin on 30 September 2010 which will set out the wider range of results available from the survey along with some trend analysis from previous years.
