Coleraine bookstore fined for illegal signage

Mrs Lucinda May Thompson (74), Secretary of T.Thompson & Company Limited, was fined £500 plus £86 court costs at Coleraine Magistrates' Court today for illegal signage.

Mrs Thompson was charged under Article 84 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991, with displaying unauthorised signs at Bargain Books, Unit 1 Diamond Arcade, The Diamond, Coleraine.
