A commercial and residential estate agent has been fined at Belfast Laganside Courts today for displaying illegal signs in south and east belfast.
BTW Shiells operate from Clarence House, May Street, Belfast and pleaded guilty on all counts of having unauthorised signage without the benefit of planning consent. This is the second occasion the company has been fined for erecting illegal signage.
The Planning Service brought about the action under Article 84 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991.
BTW Shiells was fined a total of £1,755 (which included costs of £255).
