Representatives of Lidl (Northern Ireland) GmbH were fined £750 plus £86 costs at Newtownards Magistrates Court yesterday for displaying signs illegally.
The Planning Service brought the charges of displaying two illegal signs at Upper Newtownards Road, Dundonald under Article 84 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 (as amended).
