08 February 2008 - Omagh gravel company fined for planning breach

John Haughey Rock Sand and Gravel Ltd of Dromore Road, Omagh, was fined £300 plus £89 court costs at Omagh Magistrates' Court today.

The company was convicted for breaches of an Enforcement Notice which required it to cease all unauthorised extraction and processing of material and fully restore the site at the above address.

The Planning Service brought the action under Article 72 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991.
