A man was convicted at Larne Magistrates’ Court today for allowing unlicensed waste to be dumped on his land.
David Lusk McCammon (60), of 44a Ballymullock Road, Larne, was fined £1000 and £37 costs after pleading guilty to two offences under the Waste and Contaminated Land (NI) Order 1997.
Environment and Heritage Service officers visited the site on 21 June 2006 and found large amounts of demolition waste including concrete, wood, stones and metal.
