Two Newry men found guilty of planning offences
Monday, 15 February 2010Two men were convicted at Newry Magistrates' Court today for non-compliance with Planning Service Submission Notices.
Mr Sean Hoey of Slatequarry Road, Newry was, fined £200 and ordered to pay £102 costs for failing to comply with a Submission Notice which required him to submit a planning application for the retention of a garage and games room.
Mr Patrick McAteer of Ballyholland Road, Newry, was fined £150 and ordered to pay £86 costs for failing to comply with a Submission Notice which required him to submit a planning application for the retention of a dwelling and garage. Mr McAteer has since submitted an application, however as it was not within the time specified on the notice an offence was committed.
