Minister wants to keep local momentum going
Wednesday, 16 May 2007Environment Minister Arlene Foster told the Northern Ireland Local Government Association (NILGA) she does not want to lose the momentum of reform.
The Minister met the NILGA President and Office bearers today and said: “I consider the issue of local government modernisation and reform critical in the days and weeks to come. There is much important work that has been done already and I will be engaging with my colleagues on the Executive Committee to consider how best to take forward this major programme of modernisation and reform.”
