Dromore couple fined £6,000 for unauthorised storage of pipes

A Co. Tyrone husband and wife were fined £3,000 each plus costs at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on the 9 November 2009 for not complying with a Planning Service Enforcement Notice.

Mr John Crawford and Mrs Jennifer Crawford of Newpark Road, Dromore, Co. Tyrone, were convicted for failing to remove plastic pipes and associated materials from a farmland at 82 Murley Road Fivemiletown.

The Planning Service also required the removal of the hard core and topsoil and reseeding of the land, none of which were completed in the timeframe specified.
