Part of the resurfacing work for the A12 Westlink between York Street and Divis Street has been rescheduled for the weekend 30 August – 1 September 2008
This third and final weekend closure, from Clifton Street to York Street, was originally planned for 16-18 August 2008, however due to the extreme weather conditions it was postponed.
In addition to the resurfacing work the contractor will also take advantage of this closure to carry out operations in connection with other upgrading works.
The details of the road closure are as follows : 22.00 on Saturday 30 August 2008 to 11.00 on Sunday 31 August 2008 northbound from Grosvenor Road to York Street and 11.00 on Sunday 31 August 2008 to 06.00 Monday 1 September 2008 northbound from Divis Street to York Street.

- The exact dates and times of the Westlink closures for resurfacing works will depend on weather conditions and scheme progression and therefore could be subject to change.
- In addition to the weekend closures there will also be extensive overnight closures running from 20.00 to 06.00 on weeknights during August and early September, the precise details of all the closures and other lane restrictions are available to view on the Traffic Watch website
: - A diversion route will be signed during all closures.
- The resurfacing is just outside the boundary of the current upgrade works and is between York Street and Divis Street.
