Access to Collinbridge Estate via Collinbridge Road, Glengormley, was re-opened today.
This follows extensive work to repair damage on the approach to the bridge over the M2 motorway, which happened during heavy rain on 11th August.
The emergency access arrangements through the Hightown Estate will remain in place until 10:00am tomorrow morning.
We would like to acknowledge the forbearance of the residents of both Collinbridge and Hightown Estates with the inconvenience associated with the emergency access route. We would also like to acknowledge the efforts of all the various teams involved in design, planning and construction of the works to complete the repairs within this very short timescale.
