07 October 2008 - Enniskillen woman convicted of benefit fraud

A woman was convicted at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court yesterday for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.

Amanda Crozier (35) of Windymill House, Enniskillen claimed Housing Benefit totalling £15,184 while failing to declare she was living with a partner.

She was given a four month prison sentence suspended for two years.

Miss Crozier was also given a Compensation Order for £1,000 and ordered to pay court costs of £28.

This brings to 374 the total number of successful prosecutions this year.
