Woman convicted of benefit fraud at Magherafelt court
Tuesday, 8 December 2009A woman was convicted today at Magherafelt Magistrates’ court for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.
She claimed Income Support totalling £3,092 while failing to declare employment. She was given a conditional discharge for twelve months and ordered to pay court costs of £70.
This brings to 415 the total number of successful prosecutions this year.
