Man convicted of benefit fraud at Bangor Court
Friday, 16 April 2010A man was convicted at Bangor Magistrates’ court today for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
He failed to declare employment while claiming Incapacity Benefit and Housing Benefit totalling £2,862. He was fined £750 and ordered to pay court costs of £43.
He is also required to repay the money he wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
