Armagh Man convicted of Benefit Fraud
Friday, 16 July 2010A man was convicted at Armagh Magistrates’ Court today for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
An Armagh man (42) was given a one month custodial sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay court costs of £34 for failure to declare capital while claiming Income Support and Rates Rebate totalling £15,931.
He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
