20 April 2009 - Confiscation Order against Bangor man

The Social Security Agency's Financial Investigation Unit has obtained a Confiscation Order today to the value of £21,938.93 against Stefan Pawlak at Downpatrick Crown Court.

On 24 September 2008, the defendant (35) of Cranley Drive Bangor, had been found guilty of committing social security offences and was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment suspended for two years.

At the confiscation hearing today, the Court granted a Confiscation Order in amount of £21,938.93. The defendant must pay this sum within 6 months.
