A man who claimed benefits without declaring that he was living with a partner at the time was convicted of fraud at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court today.
Colin Peter Gorman (43), of Willowfield, Tandragree, had claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit to a total of £1,594. He was sentenced to 100 hours Community Service and put on probation for 12 months. The Social Security Agency also requires him to repay the money that was fraudulently obtained.
