Ritchie offers condolences regarding Downpatrick house fire

Social Development Minister Margaret Ritchie MLA today offered her condolences to the family of the person who died in the house fire in Oriel Drive Downpatrick.

In visiting the scene of the fire, Margaret Ritchie said: "I was saddened to learn about the death of one of my constituents in such tragic circumstances. While the facts surrounding the fire have still to be established, I would like to pass on my condolences to this woman's family circle. It is particularly poignant that this has happened at this time of year and my thoughts are with them."
