A woman has been convicted at Antrim Crown Court for claiming benefits she was not entitled to.
Morgana Lucas (27) of Louhanhill Park, Coleraine, claimed Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £22,000 while failing to declare she was living with a partner. She was given a six month prison sentence suspended for two years.
Ms Lucas is also required to repay the money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
This brings to 201 the total number of successful prosecutions this year.
