Ballybogy man convicted of benefit fraud
Monday, 7 June 2010A man has been convicted at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court for claiming benefits he was not entitled to.
The Ballybogy man failed to declare he was working and living with a partner while claiming Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £2,246. He was given a £250 fine and ordered to pay £70 court costs.
He is required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
