A woman was convicted at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court today for working while in receipt of benefits.
Noelle McDonald (55), of Drumcoo Green, Dungannon, had claimed Income Support totalling £1,983 while working. She was fined £150 and will also have to repay the money she received to the Social Security Agency.
This brings to 262 the number of convictions secured so far this year by the Social Security Agency in its campaign against benefit fraud.
