Stephen Busteed (34) of Glenwherry Place, Belfast claimed Income Support and Carers Allowance totalling £3,595 while failing to declare he was working full time. He was given 150 hours community service and court costs of £117.
Brian Fee (56) of Candahar Street, Belfast claimed Income Support totalling £1,618 whilst failing to declare his partners earnings. He was given a £300 fine and court costs of £43.
Tracey Beare (29) of Finbank Gardens, Belfast claimed Income Support totalling £12,235 whilst failing to declare she was working full time. She was given 80 hours community service and court costs of £28.
Sara Byrne (32) of Lisvarna Heights, Belfast claimed Income Support totalling £9,176 whilst failing to declare she was working full time. She was given 150 hours community service.
Mary Tully (46) of Cluainmor Drive, Belfast claimed Income Support totalling £9,641 whilst failing to declare she was working full time. She was given 100 hours community service and court costs of £31.
Daniel Conn (29) of Hillhead Crescent, Belfast claimed Job Seekers Allowance and Housing Benefit totalling £3,506 whilst failing to declare he was working full time. He was given a £400 fine and court costs of £37.
Christina Kenny (37) of Oakmount Drive, Belfast claimed Income Support totalling £7,499 whilst failing to declare she was working full time. She was given a fine of £350 and court costs of £28.
All are also required to repay the money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
This brings to 341 the total number of successful prosecutions this year.
