A man was convicted of benefit fraud at Enniskillen Magistrates’ Court today.
Paul Hoy (43) of Drumshane, Irvinestown claimed Income Support totalling £16,286 while failing to declare he owned property. He was given 200 hours community service.
Mr Hoy is also required to repay the money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency.
This brings to 362 the total number of successful prosecutions this year.
