Confiscation Order against Belfast man
Friday, 4 September 2009The Social Security Agency Financial Investigation Unit obtained a Confiscation Order against the man at the Belfast Crown Court.
On 2 September 2009, the defendant was found guilty of fraudulently claiming social security benefits and was sentenced to an 18 month suspended sentence on each of 10 charges to run concurrently.
At the confiscation hearing, the Court granted a Confiscation Order in the amount of £23,300.
