Giving the key note address at the Youth Link annual accredited youth work training awards, he congratulated the young people and highlighted the very real difference they can make to society: “You all have an exciting opportunity to be seen as role models and a source of inspiration for both young people and adults alike. Your participation is helping to dispel the negative images often associated with young people.
"Everyone receiving an award should be extremely proud of their achievements. But you all know that you have achieved much more than a certificate. By participating, you have built relationships that will enable healing in the lives of individuals and communities and will help to promote respect and trust within our culturally diverse society,” added Mr Kelly.
