The Rt. Hon Dr Ian Paisley MP MLA has welcomed the news that Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh will visit Northern Ireland in March.
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will be present at the Maundy Service in St.Patrick's Church of Ireland Cathedral, Armagh on 20 March. The Queen will distribute the Royal Maundy during the service.
Welcoming the news, Dr Paisley said: "I am delighted that the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are making a return visit. I look forward to meeting with them during their stay and know that they will again receive a warm welcome from the people of Northern Ireland. "
Arrangements for the visit to Armagh are the responsibility of the Lord Chamberlain's Office.
