First Minister Peter Robinson and deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness have sent their congratulations to Co Antrim teenager Michael McKillop who earlier today won a gold medal in the men's 800 metres at the Bejiing Paralympics
Peter Robinson said: "Michael's achievement is one which we can all celebrate and I would like to congratulate him and indeed all our athletes who have performed so well in China at these games."
Martin McGuinness said: "The dedication and courage of all those who compete at these games is to be admired and praised but it gives me particular pleasure to congratulate Michael on this singular achievement."
The two Ministers also extended congratulations to Bangor man William Johnston who won a gold and four bronze medals at the European Transplant and Dialysis games held in Germany recently.
